Senior/Manager - Corporate Sales (Higher Education & Academic Libraries)

What you’ll be doing:

• Lead the development and execution of the corporate sales strategy, focused on expanding Booksmart’s presence in the higher education and academic library sectors
• Drive revenue and profit growth in this key business area
• Build and nurture long-term relationships with university libraries, academic institutions, and educational organizations to ensure continued success and expansion
• Identify new business opportunities while fostering existing client relationships to maximize sales potential and secure repeat business
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and customer service, to enhance product offerings and improve customer satisfaction
• Stay ahead of market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to ensure Booksmart remains well-positioned in the evolving market
• Provide regular sales performance updates, market insights, and business progress to senior leadership.

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
• At least 5 years’ of relevant experience and proven success in corporate sales, ideally within the higher education, academic library, or publishing sectors
• Knowledge of the Asia-Pacific higher education and academic library market is highly desirable
• Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and lead a sales team to achieve ambitious targets
• Targets-driven with demonstrated success in sales strategy development and execution
• Excellent relationship-building skills, particularly with senior decision-makers and academic stakeholders
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
