Key Responsibilities:

Design, configure, and deploy LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.
Install, configure, and maintain network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers).
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and optimal performance.
Implement security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and access control.
Work with vendors and service providers for network upgrades and support.
Perform regular network maintenance, firmware updates, and security patches.
Develop and maintain network documentation, including diagrams and SOPs.
Assist with network capacity planning and scaling.
Support VoIP, cloud networking, and remote access solutions.
Collaborate with IT teams to resolve technical issues and improve network efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
4 years of experience in network engineering or related roles.
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and network protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLAN, etc.).
Experience with firewalls (Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Fortinet), VPNs, and security configurations.
Familiarity with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, Wireshark).
Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus.
Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP or equivalent preferred.
Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work in high-pressure situations.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
