Senior Quantity Surveyor/Contract Manager[ Interior design/Central] - Toa Payoh

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct quantity take-offs and cost estimations.
• Prepare and submit tenders within specified deadlines.
• Source, plan, negotiate, and award contracts to vendors.
• Oversee material order processing and implement cost control measures.
• Evaluate and process vendor claims efficiently.
• Prepare and submit monthly progress claims to consultants on time.
• Finalize project accounts with both clients and vendors.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum Diploma in a related field.
• At least five years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably within the interior design industry.
• Hands-on experience in interior design work is highly preferred.

JOB SCOPE:

• Cost Management: Prepare and monitor budgets, cash flow, and cost estimates.
• Contract Administration: Review contract documents, prepare tender documentation, and manage contract-related records.
• Project Management: Lead and oversee projects, including progress claims, subcontractor payments, and variation claims.
• Contract Disputes: Resolve disputes, assess claims, and evaluate entitlement for time extensions.
• Communication: Ensure clear and effective communication of contract-related matters to stakeholders.
• Procurement: Source quotations, conduct price comparisons, and prepare cost summaries.
• Tender Process: Coordinate with stakeholders and assess variation requests.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly financial reports, process progress payments, and finalize accounts.
