Adecco is partnering with a leading company specializing in advanced technology for manufacturing and assembly. We are looking for an experienced Computer Vision Engineer to join their Core R&D Lab. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop cutting-edge computer vision algorithms and contribute to groundbreaking advancements in robotics applications.
The Job:
- Design and implement advanced computer vision algorithms for:
- 3D reconstruction
- Image processing (e.g., edge detection, denoising)
- Object detection, recognition, tracking, and scene understanding
- Develop and integrate computer vision solutions into robotic platforms, ensuring high performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with engineers and researchers to prototype and deploy innovative technologies in real-world applications.
- Conduct research and stay updated on cutting-edge advancements in computer vision and machine learning.
- Optimize existing computer vision algorithms to improve efficiency, accuracy, and real-time performance.
- Perform rigorous testing and validation of vision components in various challenging environments.
- Document software designs, implementation details, and testing protocols for knowledge sharing and reproducibility.
The Talent:
- Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of industrial experience in computer vision and robotics applications.
- Strong foundation in computer vision, image processing, multiple view geometry, depth estimation, and machine learning techniques.
- Proven experience in camera calibration, including:
- Camera intrinsic calibration
- Camera-to-camera calibration
- Robot-to-camera calibration
- Expertise in programming languages such as C++, Python, and CUDA.
- Proficiency with computer vision libraries (e.g., OpenCV, PCL) and machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Experience in 3D reconstruction (NeRF and Gaussian Splatting) and point cloud processing is a plus.
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and communicate complex technical concepts effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation in robotics and computer vision.
