Test Automation Engineer

About the role

Stellar Link Partners is partnering with a leading IT consultancy to help them seek for a Test Automation Engineer for their growing team. You will play a pivotal part in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using various frameworks.

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for functional and regression testing.
• Collaborate with the development and QA teams to identify and prioritize test cases suitable for automation.
• Create, update, and execute test plans and test cases based on business requirements and technical specifications.
• Conduct performance testing to ensure system stability and responsiveness.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with developers to resolve issues.
• Maintain and enhance the existing test automation framework.
• Monitor and report on test automation progress and coverage.
• Ensure that automated tests are integrated into the CI/CD pipeline for continuous testing.

• Proven experience as a Test Automation Engineer or similar role.
• Proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Cypress or similar.
• Strong programming skills in languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, or similar.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
