Pharmacy Technician - Sembawang

You will provide quality patient care in inpatient and outpatient settings, performing the following tasks:

• Interact with patients in assisting with their medication orders and queries
• Label and pack medications
• Process medication orders
• Counsel on medications
• Other ad-hoc tasks e.g. quality improvement projects etc.

Additionally, there are opportunities for you to explore your interest in medication safety, staff training, inventory management, roster management etc.

• Candidate must possess a Diploma in Pharmaceutical Sciences from NYP, RP, TP or NP or Diploma in Applied Science from RP or WSQ Advanced Certificate in Healthcare (Pharmacy Support) previously known as Certified Pharmacy Technician Course
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
• Has good listening, written and communication skills

• On-job-training for operational competencies
• In-house training with Pharmacy Technician trainers for clinical competencies
• Expanded job scope as you gain more work experience e.g., supplies and discharge prescription checker, floor manager role
• Hospital-run and local external courses for e.g., communication skills, coaching skills, medication safety, patient education etc.
