Intellectual Property Management Consultant - Toa Payoh

The Intellectual Property (IP) Management Consultant is responsible for providing strategic guidance internally and externally on managing and commercializing intellectual property assets. This includes overseeing licensing agreements, developing business plans, and advising on production, creative and marketing initiatives.

  1. Licensee Coordination & Support
  • Assist in managing relationships with licensees, retailers, and partners.
  • Monitor and track licensee sales reports, royalty payments and contract compliance.
  • Address licensee inquiries and provide necessary guidance on brand usage.
  1. Licensing Agreements & Administration
  • Assist in drafting and reviewing licensing agreements & legal documents.
  • Maintain an organized database of contracts, royalty reports and approvals.
  • Track key licensing deadlines, renewals and compliance requirements.
  1. Brand Compliance & Marketing Approvals
  • Ensure all licensed products and marketing materials adhere to brand guidelines.
  • Assist in the review and approval of product designs, packaging and promotional campaigns.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure brand consistency across all licensed products.
  1. Market Research & Business Support
  • Conduct research on market trends, competitors and potential licensing opportunities.
  • Support in preparing business reports, presentations and sales data analysis.
  • Assist in identifying new categories and potential licensees to expand the brand’s reach.
  1. Event & Promotional Coordination
  • Support the planning and execution of trade shows, licensing fairs and promotional events.
  • Coordinate with marketing teams to ensure successful brand activations and collaborations.
Key Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Licensing, or related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in licensing, brand management or marketing.
  • Understanding of intellectual property (IP), licensing agreements, and brand management.
  • Strong administrative, organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders, including licensees, legal teams and creative teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with licensing and design software is a plus.
