Supply Chain Manager - Woodlands

About the role:

The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for directing or coordinating, purchasing, warehousing of raw materials and finished products, distribution, to limit costs and improve accuracy, customer satisfaction, or safety. A Supply Chain Manager also examines opportunities to streamline activities to meet product distribution needs, as well as directing the movement, storage, or processing of inventory.

Responsibilities:

• Direct report to General Manager / Director
• Collaborate, manage and supervise the work process in the Supply Chain department (Purchasing, QA, Warehouse & Logistics) to determine the products needed.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with raw material suppliers and ensure products arrive on time.
• Oversee demand forecasting, supply planning and procurement to ensure product needs are met on time
• Track shipments, stock levels and physical checks
• Manage product availability levels to minimize production risk and maximize product turnover.
• Look at the possibility of developing supply chain networks, cooperation with delivery / logistics vendors in order to achieve customer satisfaction
• Design and implement SOPs for the purchase, storage, and delivery of raw materials/finished goods in accordance with company regulations.
• Build and maintain good working relationships with internal parties between departments.
• Collaborate with other related departments to identify problems and find solutions related to the supply chain process according to company targets.

Qualifications:

• Min. 3 yrs in the same position as Supply Chain, preferably from F&B industry
• High integrity
• Have experience in handling purchasing, planning, warehouse and logistics
• Strong analytical skills
• Able to create and implement SOP well
• Able to work in team and have a leadership spirit
• Able to operate Microsoft Office
• Able to solve a problem
• Able to work under pressure/target
