Job Summary:

Assist the Accounting Manager in overseeing the accounting and administrative functions, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations, accurate and timely financial reporting, and maintaining a robust internal control environment and providing exceptional support to the organization.

Job Description:

  • Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting Operations: Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance.
  • Internal Controls: Help maintain and improve internal controls, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Audit and Compliance: Assist in coordinating external & internal audits, preparing audit schedules, and addressing auditor inquiries. Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in budgeting and financial planning, including expense tracking and reporting.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvements and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to the Accounting Manager, senior management, and other departments.
  • Office Operations: Oversee the maintenance of office facilities, equipment, and supplies.
  • Communication: Coordinate internal and external communications, including phone calls, emails, and correspondence.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, databases, and spreadsheets.
  • HR Support: Provide support with HR-related tasks, such as recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.
  • Special Projects: Assist with special projects, such as event planning, training, and development.
  • Other adhoc assigned by Accounting Manager.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in full set accounting, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role and related work experiences.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in accounting software (e.g., ERP, SAP, Sage), Excel, and financial reporting tools.
  • Soft Skills: Good communication, responsiveness and problem-solving skills.
