The candidate would fit into an established technical consulting team based in Singapore, working with a broader cohort of regionally based energy professionals. Working on a range of Singaporean and international assignments in the energy and renewable power sector from small scale generation to utility sized generation and storage.Technology would cover solar PV, battery energy storage, offshore/onshore wind, pumped hydro energy storage, and hydrogen.
Relevant workstreams would cover power systems studies, grid connection modelling, renewable energy studies, and front-end engineering design
The Opportunity- Work without supervision, referring up as necessary. In achieving this you will be responsible for meeting deadlines, monitoring budgets and controlling expenditure to meet financial targets in your own area;
- Represent Arup at internal and external events and you may be responsible for designing and delivering events, activities and projects which impact the business;
- Take responsibility for the performance and development of others through providing guidance, training, direction and feedback.

Is this role right for you?- A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
- More than 10 years of industry experience
- Moe than 6 years of power system modelling experience
- Experience undertaking Network modelling associated with grid compliance studies in APAC/Europe, or with the preparation of Generator Performance Standards (GPS); Releasable User Guides (RUG) for Solar farms and wind farms in Australia
- Relevant experience with Python, PSCAD, PSSE and Powerfactory
