Lead DevOps Engineer - CI/CD - GCP - Toa Payoh

• CI/CD Pipeline Management: Lead a team to create and maintain automated pipelines for build, test, and deployment using tools like Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Automate provisioning and configuration of resources using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible.
• Container Orchestration: Manage containerized applications using Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, or Amazon ECS.
• Monitoring & Logging: Implement monitoring solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) to ensure health and performance of infrastructure and applications.
• Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Maintain centralized documentation for infrastructure and procedures.
• Collaboration with Development Teams: Work on performance optimization, troubleshooting, and best practices for scalability, reliability, and security.
• Leadership & Guidance: Provide leadership to the DevOps team, ensuring best practices are followed and reviewing code and architecture.
• Release Management: Oversee software releases in staging and production environments.
• Security: Work closely with security teams to enforce infrastructure and application security standards.
• Automation: Drive initiatives to automate tasks, workflows, and processes.
• Capacity Planning & Cost Optimization: Plan for scalability, optimize performance, and reduce cloud costs.
• Mentorship: Foster a learning culture within the team.
• Emerging Technologies: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven leadership experience in a DevOps or similar role with team management and mentorship.
• Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
• Proficiency in scripting (Python, Shell).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, version control, and automation tools.
• Cloud computing experience (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Expertise in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS).
• Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
• Experience in incident management, post-mortem analysis, and root cause analysis.
• Knowledge of security best practices for infrastructure.
