Bedok - Automation Engineer

Automation Engineer is responsible for delivering technological solutions designed for software processes, collaborate with other teams to help identify and eliminate issues by collecting requirements and executing process automation.

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan and manage control engineering activities to ensure production and quality objectives are met
• Responsible for effective management of automatic control devices to achieve common factory goals
• Responsible for developing automation engineering issues to ensure system reliability and high availability
• Responsible for high-quality operation for automatic control equipment systems such as:
• - HMI/SCADA and PLCs (Siemens S7)
• PLC programming
• Control system
• Develop troubleshooting manuals, standard operating procedures, etc.
• Implement a Visual control system on the machine

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechatronics / Mechanical Engineering
• Experienced in multi type PLC programming & HMI Programming (Omron, Mitsubishi, Siemens S7 & WinCC)
• Experienced in SCL programming language and TIA Portal
• Knowledge of Codesys programming and SoftPLC will be an added advantage
• Knowledge of automatic control equipment, technical management, safety and environmental management, systems (ISO, GMP, HACCP), and control standard equipment (Robot, Vision, PLC, Servo press) will be an added advantage
• Committed and good team player with the ability to work independently
• Experience in Java, C++, C# to integrate with the company software system
