Operations Assistant Manager - Geylang

We are seeking a highly motivated Operations Assistant Manager to support commercial physical oil products logistics operations, coordinate post-deal trading activities, and ensure smooth contract execution. This role requires effective communication with stakeholders, meticulous documentation, and proactive problem-solving to optimize operational efficiency and minimize costs.

• Ensure all contractual obligations and compliance requirements are met.
• Coordinate with cargo counterparties, terminals, vessels, inspectors, agents, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations and timely information exchange.
• Manage cargo and vessel nominations, prepare and send voyage orders, and monitor vessel progress.
• Maintain accurate records of operational activities in compliance with company policies.
• Implement necessary financial security measures and cost optimization strategies.
• Participate in out-of-hours coverage when required.
• Monitor and manage the supply and inventory of oil products in the Asia-Pacific region, ensuring efficient scheduling and forecasting.
• Identify opportunities for operational improvements and cost reductions.
• Support traders by providing relevant market intelligence and assisting in business development initiatives.
• Foster strong relationships with trade counterparties and key stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s degree or above.
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin (to liaise with Mandarin-speaking associates).
• Strong knowledge of oil logistics operations.
• Analytical mindset with strong commercial acumen.
• Excellent communication skills and numerical proficiency.
• Ability to work flexibly under tight deadlines and pressure.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in oil trading operations.
