SENIOR MANAGER

Job Description:

• Contributing to the business operations and development as a Senior Manager for the related subsidiaries in the Southeast Asia, India and Middle East region. Specifically, involves formulating line strategies by region and industry in accordance with the head office's business operations plan. Managing funds as an HD company including local subsidiaries and overseeing various compliance management in line with the laws of each country.
• Utilizing on-site experience from a steel mill to formulate and implementing new risk and regulatory strategies, and policies in business development.
• To support managers and advisors as a Senior Manager and assist in driving the business strategy for the Southeast Asia region.
• Identification, investigation, evaluation, and resolution of issues in line with global trends in the logistics and engineering industries (including, where necessary, conducting control reviews of existing processes and gap analyses).
• To possess the ability as a professional in fund management and to manage the recovery process through financing and dividends of related subsidiaries. Additionally, to have the ability to create and manage reinvestment schemes for dividend funds obtained from various stakeholders.
• Possessing a track record in market research, being able to gather information on trends in global logistics and engineering businesses, and formulate strategies based on quantitative analysis. At the local entity level, maintaining oversight of the entity’s compliance with local regulations on Logistics Business requirements.
• To have experience as a manager capable of providing compliance guidance at the local subsidiary level.
• To support various temporary initiatives and projects across borders.

Requirements:

• The successful candidate will be Bachelor’s degree qualified with more than 4 years’ experience in Logistics Industry in/ outside Japan.
• You will also be described as someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills in order to deal with the senior stakeholders within the group.
• Experience in Warehouse Management, Supply Chain Management, Third Party Logistics Business Planning and operation process.
• Experience in raw material transportation and management at a blast furnace steel manufacture or a similar big industry for about 3 years.
• Experience in financial institution for more than 2 years. Especially in international financial institution
• Strong analytical skills including the ability to think critically and logically, creative problem solving and excellent decision-making skills.
• Due to the significant interaction with Japan Based Stakeholders, Japan Headquarter, Regional Office and the Japanese market, fluency in Japanese language spoken and written is essentially a MUST for reports, proposals and presentations with a proven ability to produce, review and edit written documentation.
