- Coordination: Oversee construction activities, ensuring adherence to schedules and specifications while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Contractor Management: Evaluate and select the best contractors and subcontractors based on their qualifications and cost-effectiveness.
- Progress Monitoring: Track key performance indicators and provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status and milestones.
- Safety Assurance: Implement and enforce safety protocols, ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining a safe working environment.
- Documentation Management: Oversee project documentation, including contracts, permits, and change orders, to maintain clear records.
- Team Leadership: Provide guidance to the project team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Continuous Improvement: Conduct project evaluations to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary corrective measures.
- Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field to provide a strong foundation for the role.
- Relevant Experience: At least 3 years of experience in building construction project management, demonstrating a track record of successful project delivery.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction methodologies, building codes, and safety regulations to ensure project compliance.
- Project Management Skills: Excellent planning, organizing, and prioritizing abilities to effectively manage multiple aspects of construction projects.
- Technical Proficiency: Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including project blueprints and construction schematics.
