Technical Manager (Marine and Offshore)

• In charge of Marine Service Department
• Effort all aspect of marine & service operation to ensure sales targets and operational goals are achieved and to enhance staff productivity and sales performance.
• Advice to develop a business plan and sales strategy for the assigned markets that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
• Preparation of various internal reports to Japanese HQ
• Develop new sales strategies and processes and grow existing business.
• Build a diverse team with different talents and personalities.
• Responsible to advise customers, ships owners in event related to Mitsui-B&W engines as well as DU-WinGD engines.
• To service and repair Mitsui E&S equipment supplied vessels, recommendation of spares services, supervising servicing activities to ensure compliance and requirements of quality standards.
• Carry out site repairs, troubleshooting and etc, as and when required
• Liaise & communication with Japanese HQ

• Degree in Marine / Electrical / Engineering
• Min 10 years relevant working experience
• Knowledge of MAN B&W 2stroke diesel engines
• At least 7 years of experience in providing technical guidance and customer support to MAN B&W 2stroke engines
• Able to speak Japanese for communication with Japan HQ personnel & engineers
• Experience in conducting root cause analysis
• Experience in creating a Root cause analysis report
• Ability to influence and convince and drive collaboration
• Excellent team player coupled with strong team management skills
