About the Role

Hudson is proud to partner with a global leader in the Lifesciences sector to find a talented Senior Tax Analyst for their Singapore operations. This role will be pivotal in managing the company’s tax compliance and optimization strategies, particularly for their Singapore manufacturing plant.

• Tax Compliance: Manage and ensure compliance with Singapore tax regulations, including corporate income tax, GST, and withholding tax.
• Manufacturing Tax Expertise: Leverage your knowledge of manufacturing-related tax issues to advise on and resolve complex tax matters.
• EDB Grant Management: Monitor and maintain compliance with EDB grant requirements to optimize incentives for the business.
• Advisory and Reporting: Prepare and analyze tax provisions, filings, and reports, providing strategic advice to internal stakeholders.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and external advisors, to ensure tax efficiency and alignment with business objectives.

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of tax experience, preferably with a focus on manufacturing. Prior experience with a Big 4 tax practice is strongly preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proven expertise in Singapore tax compliance, corporate tax filings, and manufacturing tax-related incentives.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with EDB grants and their application in business expansion and cost-saving strategies.
• Education: Degree in Accounting, Tax, or a related field. Accreditation in a professional accounting body (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is a plus.
• Attributes: Detail-oriented, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities to interact with stakeholders across all levels.
