Diabetic wounds are a serious and common complication of diabetes, with a high risk of foot ulcers and lower extremity amputations. Traditional wound dressings have limitations, leading to poor wound healing efficacy, frequent recurrence and inadequate response to microenvironment changes.
Globally, every 30s, a lower limb is amputated due to non-healing diabetic wounds. We are seeking a research fellow to develop magneto-responsive hydrogel for wound healing through mechano-therapy.

Conducting experiments, writing manuscripts

Qualifications

PhD in materials engineering or plant biology; 2 first author papers; ideally, experience in in vivo and in vitro plant work
