Key Responsibilities:
Machine Learning & Predictive Analytics:
- Develop and implement machine learning models for medical diagnostics, predictive analytics, and personalized healthcare solutions.
- Apply deep learning techniques to analyze medical imaging, genomic data, and patient records.
- Optimize algorithms for real-time healthcare applications and decision support systems.
Data Analysis & Insights Generation:
- Work with structured and unstructured medical data to extract meaningful insights.
- Develop statistical models to enhance clinical decision-making and operational efficiency.
- Design and conduct experiments to validate data-driven hypotheses in healthcare.
Data Engineering & Management:
- Collaborate with data engineers to process, clean, and integrate large-scale healthcare datasets.
- Ensure data quality, compliance, and security in alignment with healthcare regulations (HIPAA, GDPR).
- Build and maintain scalable data pipelines for AI-driven healthcare applications.
Collaboration & Research:
- Work closely with doctors, researchers, and product teams to translate medical challenges into data-driven solutions.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in AI and healthcare technology.
- Publish research papers and contribute to industry conferences where relevant.
Requirements:
- Master’s or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or a related field.
- At least 5+ years of experience in data science, preferably in the healthcare or MedTech sector.
- Strong proficiency in Python, R, or Julia for data analysis and machine learning.
- Experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Knowledge of healthcare data standards (FHIR, HL7) and regulatory compliance.
- Familiarity with cloud computing (AWS, GCP, Azure) and big data technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in interdisciplinary teams.
- Strong communication skills to convey complex insights to non-technical stakeholders.
