The Company
The organisation is a well-established Real Estate fund manager comprising multiple product strategies across a highly-diversified portfolio of assets (logistics, office, retail, student accommodation, hospitality, DC) located across the first-tier APAC markets.There is now a requirement for a Compliance Officer to join their growing team.
The Position
The Compliance Officer is responsible for ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions, including Singapore, the Cayman Islands, Europe, and the USA. Key responsibilities include administering and tracking regulatory reporting, assessing policy impacts, and communicating necessary updates.Additionally, the role involves drafting and reviewing compliance documentation, policies, reports, and regulatory filings.
The Compliance Officer will play an integral part in implementing compliance monitoring programs and developing and maintaining a risk-based enterprise risk management framework. The position also entails supporting regulatory reporting, handling board matters, facilitating investor due diligence, and conducting compliance training.
The Person
To excel in this role, candidates should possess a minimum of three years of professional experience, preferably in audit, internal controls, or risk management within organizations holding a Capital Market Services License. Strong interpersonal skills, independence, and the ability to effectively collaborate with the business are essential for success.
