Job Scope:
- Provide PILATES instructions.
- Lead group classes or train clients one on one and instruct clients in a range of stretching and strength activities.
- Ability to adjust exercises, stretching techniques, and breathing patterns to the individual's fitness level and ability.
- Through Pilates exercises, help clients increase lung capacity; strengthen their abdominal and back muscles; and improve coordination.
- Teach clients exercises that improve balance and posture.
- Teach groups or individuals and can focus on mat or machine exercises.
- Offer training on the complete system including the reformer. Adjust all parts of the reformer to suit clients' strength, coordination, and leg and torso length.
- Cross-selling other services and products to clients.
- Responsible for personal appearance, hygiene, and image.
Requirements:
- Certified as a Pilates Instructor from an internationally recognised Pilates Institution (e.g., STOTT, Balance Body Inc. or other Pilates Institution)
- At least 5 years of experience in teaching Pilates.
- Senior Pilates Instructor
- Trained to work with different populations, special conditions and injuries.
- Able to commit to a min of 135 to 140 hours in a month.
