Our client seeks an experienced software engineer to join our skilled team of software, hardware, and RF engineers. The candidate will design and implement software for wireless router firmware, contributing solidly to system software and automation script development.
They must excel in writing clean code, enhancing our radio capabilities, and addressing customer needs and issues. The role involves prototyping, conducting application tests, and supporting production.
Core Skills:
- Proficiency in C/Linux programming and debugging
- Strong problem-solving and logical thinking
- Hardworking and quick learner in high-pressure environments
Additional Skills:
- Networking concepts knowledge
- Experience with Linux wireless stack, kernel, drivers, and git
- Web GUI development for embedded systems is advantageous
- Bash shell and Python scripting skills are beneficial
- Familiarity with QCA drivers like ath9k and ath10k is a plus
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum 2 years' experience in Linux and C development
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across teams
