ROLE SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Architect (Cloud Business.

In this role, you will leverage your deep technical expertise and customer insights to design and implement cloud migration and modernization strategies using the Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF). You will architect solutions that meet both business and IT needs, ensuring the successful deployment of cloud technologies while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to drive enterprise cloud transformations.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud infrastructure, as well as a passion for solving complex business challenges.

• Develop migration and modernization roadmaps for customers using the Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) to guide their cloud journey.
• Architect and implement cloud solutions that align with customer business and IT needs, leveraging technologies such as IaaS, security, networking, application development, DevOps, and cloud-native applications.
• Collaborate with Cloud Solution Architects and Microsoft stakeholders to design end-to-end enterprise solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform.
• Ensure all solutions adhere to the Well-Architected Framework, optimizing performance efficiency, security, operational excellence, reliability, and cost management.
• Lead Architectural Design Sessions with customers to develop solutions that align with their business goals and technical environment, ensuring consensus on design and next steps.
• Use CAF Landing Zones to rapidly prototype and deliver proof-of-concept solutions, accelerating time to production deployment.
• Build and nurture long-term relationships with key customer IT decision-makers, driving cloud adoption and enabling them to advocate for cloud within their organizations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, demonstrating the value of implementing Azure technologies.
• Provide technical leadership and collaborate with stakeholders to create comprehensive enterprise solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform.
• Support customers in their cloud transformation journeys, helping them to migrate on-premise workloads to the cloud effectively.

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in cloud architecture, cloud migration, and enterprise IT solutions.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, AWS, or GCP cloud platforms, with hands-on experience in designing and deploying cloud solutions.
• Experience with Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF), Hybrid and Cloud Networking, and Cloud Native Security Technologies.
• Proficiency in one or more of the following programming languages: C++, C#, Java, Node.js, Python.
• Hands-on experience with containers, microservices, Kubernetes, and cloud-native application architectures.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD tool chains (e.g., Jenkins, Spinnaker, Azure developer services, GitHub).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IAC) tools, such as Terraform and other automation toolsets.
• Ability to articulate the technical and business value of cloud services to customers and stakeholders.
• Proven track record in conducting cloud assessment and discovery workshops with customers, designing scalable cloud architectures, and successfully implementing solutions.

• Certifications in cloud technologies, including Cloud Infrastructure, Data Analytics, Networking, Security, Cloud-native applications, AI/ML, IoT, etc.
• Experience working with large-scale application portfolios in enterprise environments, including migration of on-premise workloads to the cloud.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-native technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and Cloud Foundry.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Experience in working with business units to transform workflows and enhance operational efficiency through cloud technologies.
