Position Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and skilled Chef to join our food preparation team. The ideal candidate will have strong culinary skills, a passion for healthy eating, and a creative flair for developing new dishes. This is a flexible, part-time position that offers opportunities for career progression and creative freedom.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals according to our healthy recipes and standards.
- Maintain high standards of quality, speed, and consistency.
- Package meals in containers, ensuring proper labeling and storage before delivery.
- Follow strict food safety protocols to ensure meal quality and customer satisfaction.
- Participate in recipe development and offer creative input to expand our menu.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen in line with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure efficiency and smooth daily operations.
Requirements:
- WSQ Food Safety Course Level 1 (required).
- Experience in cooking and meal preparation in a restaurant or food production setting.
- Hands-on experience cooking Asian and Western cuisine.
- Ability to work efficiently and consistently meet meal preparation targets.
- A passion for healthy, fresh food and sustainable practices.
- Creative mindset and interest in developing new recipes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Hourly pay of $50/hour.
- Performance Bonus: Earn an additional 5-10% bonus per month if you consistently cook all meals with good quality within the time frame specified
