About the Role
The Commercial Manager Singapore is an integral part of the Regional team and will be responsible for conducting commercial activities on a national level. The figure will focus on expanding and maintaining our commercial relationship, ensuring an excellent execution of all the operations activities related.
Responsibilities- Conducting commercial activities on a national level in accordance with Commercial Director and broader corporate strategy
- Conducting business development activities on a national level in accordance with regional and broader corporate strategy, including but not limited to scouting of prospects and potential partnerships, new market trends, new products, in-person meetings
- Handling Customers sales quotations, purchase orders and general enquiries following the corporate procedures
- Having full autonomy and responsibility over pricing decisions in accordance with corporate procedures and policies
- Updating the Customer information database as well as processing data entry activities and data research upon request
- Teaming-up within the Sales Dept as well as Procurement, Quality, Logistics and Financial Dept. to handle and coordinate all operations properly between the Company and the Corporate
- Managing all procurement activities related to his accounts. Contacting suppliers, deciding best procurement options, organizing logistics and being responsible getting the product into our warehouses in compliance with corporate procedures
- Collecting market intelligence data from different sources (websites, partners, governments) to improve efficiency and forecast new trends
- Strategic support to the Commercial Director APAC in daily as well as medium term and long tasks
- Granting an efficient and effective time management for own tasks according to the instructions given
- Supporting proactively back-up work activities and workload peaks during the year
- Degree in Economics, Pharmacy or any other relevant area
- 2+ years with experience in pharma (sales, purchasing, distributors)
- Knowledge of SAP ERP system
- Excellent English language skills: written and spoken, other language a plus
- Strong relationship building and follow through abilities
- Solutions oriented and ability to work in a complex and fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills, written and spoken, and ability to thrive in collaborative teams, linking with various functions
- Focus on solving challenges to achieve the best result for all involved
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Strong attention to detail
