Sustainability Executive - Bukit Merah

Role Summary:
We are strengthening our ESG capabilities and are looking for a Sustainability Executive to join our Group. This is a new and strategic role for someone who is passionate about embedding sustainability across business practices, and who can help us bring structure, substance, and momentum to our ESG journey
As the Sustainability Executive, you will work closely with senior management, business unit heads, and functional teams across the Group to develop and implement our sustainability roadmap. This includes coordinating our sustainability reporting, aligning with regulatory and global standards, and supporting initiatives that advance environmental and social impact in the communities we serve.
You will not be working in isolation—our approach is team-based, with active involvement from cross-functional teams. We value collaboration and are building a sustainability culture that is both strategic and operational.
Responsibilities:
- Support the development and execution of the Group’s sustainability strategy and roadmap.
- Coordinate the preparation of our annual Sustainability Report in line with relevant frameworks (e.g., GRI, ISSB)
- Facilitate ESG data collection and monitor key performance indicators across business units.
- Conduct and support stakeholder engagement and materiality assessments.
- Track ESG regulatory developments (e.g. SGX sustainability reporting rules) and assess implications for the Group.
- Collaborate with internal departments to integrate ESG into business processes, product development, and risk frameworks.
- Drive staff awareness and training initiatives to embed ESG across the organisation.
- Support investor queries, client RFPs, and sustainability disclosures as needed.
Requirements:
- A degree in sustainability, finance, environmental studies, economics, business, or a related field is helpful—but we’re equally open to candidates from diverse academic backgrounds who bring strong ESG experience and a passion for impact.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience, ideally in ESG, sustainability strategy, risk, corporate affairs, or consulting.
- Familiarity with sustainability reporting standards such as GRI, ISSB, SASB, and related disclosure regulations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex issues and engage diverse stakeholders.
- Comfortable working independently, but thrives in collaborative settings.
- Organised, thoughtful, and proactive in managing timelines and multiple workstreams.
- Candidates with certification in ESG (e.g., GRI, SASB FSA, CFA ESG, ISO 14064) & prior experience with climate risk assessment or sustainability data platforms will an added advantage
