Toa Payoh - Marketing Strategy - Senior Account Manager
ROLE OVERVIEW:
The opportunity exists for an enthusiastic, driven and creative Marketing Strategy Senior Account Manager to join the Strategy and Account Services team within the 54 Marketing division.
The candidate will cover a range of Marketing services specifically across 54’s portfolio of clients marketing activities in South East Asia and consulting with key clients to develop and drive forward the delivery of agreed marketing strategies.
As part of developing and rolling out key Marketing strategies on each account, the role will also entail liaising with the Marketing division’s specialist teams, which includes Advertising, Brand and Creative, Earned Media, Social Media and Content.
The successful candidate will be based from the 54 office in Singapore, with some international travel to service clients.
An understanding and passion for sport, particularly the game of golf, alongside a general understanding of the golf media landscape is preferred, and a marketing background essential. Candidates should display considerable competence in project management skills, comfortable working on multiple projects and to tight deadlines, as well as strong written and verbal communications, and good attention to detail.The candidate should also be adept across all Microsoft Office applications.
KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Given the role sits within the Strategy and Account Services team, a varied and broad skillset and understanding of marketing is required. With the ability to work across a diverse client portfolio, to assist 54 service its clients’ needs:
- Strategy Development
- Project Management
- Marketing Consultancy
- Client Account Management
- Project Reporting
- Develop annual (and ad hoc project-based) marketing strategy for clients (across destination, brand and event marketing)
- Provide client insight on best-practice
- Work in conjunction with marketing functions, whether internal and external resources, to deliver best-in-class results e.g. advertising and content teams
- Ensure client reports are delivered in time and are meeting KPI’s
- Hold strong relations with client and lead all conference calls and meetings
- Have strong relations and regular dialogue with partners to develop solutions in-line with client objectives
- Understand the intricacies of each partner and how solutions will often be bespoke for each
- Hold strong industry relationships (attend industry events to develop network)
- Work strategically and utilise primary data to inspire creativity
- Be an excellent communicator and team player. Important given 54’s international remit (and overseas offices)
- Liaise regularly with other departments to ensure alignment
- Contribute good insights in senior management meetings
- Encourage and develop best-practice across the business
- Lead on the creation of new business pitches and decks
- Provide intel (e.g. industry knowledge) around prospective new clients for 54
- Concise updates to all directors on client delivery and new business opportunities
