Job Description:

As a Retail Risk Manager, you will be responsible for assessing and mitigating risks associated with our retail operations. You will play a crucial role in identifying potential risks, implementing risk management strategies, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

This position reports to the Head of Risk Management.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures tailored to the retail industry and regulatory environment in Singapore.

Conduct comprehensive risk assessments of retail operations, including credit risk, market risk, operational risk, and compliance risk.

Monitor key risk indicators and analyze trends to identify emerging risks and areas for improvement.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement risk mitigation strategies and controls.

Review and assess retail products, services, and processes to ensure alignment with risk management objectives.

Provide guidance and training to retail staff on risk awareness, compliance requirements, and best practices.

Prepare reports and presentations for senior management and regulatory authorities, highlighting key risk issues and recommendations.

Stay abreast of industry developments, regulatory changes, and emerging risks affecting the retail sector in Singapore.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or related field. Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., FRM, CRM) preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in risk management, preferably within the retail industry or financial services sector.

Strong understanding of retail operations, products, and regulatory requirements in Singapore.

Proficient in risk assessment methodologies, data analysis techniques, and risk management tools.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.

Proven leadership abilities, with experience leading cross-functional teams and driving results.

Analytical mindset with a keen attention to detail and the ability to think critically and strategically.

Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Strong integrity and ethical standards, with a commitment to upholding the highest levels of professionalism and compliance.
