Trader - Petrochemical/Gasoline/Light End/Gasoil- International Market - Geylang

Job Description:

• Trade light-end and petrochemical products (both physical and derivatives) to meet market needs and company goals.
• Keep track of oil and gas market trends and factors affecting supply, demand, and prices.
• Identify and manage risks, like price changes and credit exposure.
• Build strong connections with suppliers, customers, brokers, and other market players.
• Represent the company in negotiations and discussions.
• Ensure smooth and timely delivery of traded products by managing logistics and shipping.
• Ensure all trades follow legal, regulatory, and company guidelines.
• Monitor trade results (profit/loss) and suggest improvements to strategies.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (preferably in international trade or a related field).
• Extra certifications in commodity trading are a plus.
• 3-5 years of experience in gasoline or petrochemical trading (physical and derivatives).
• Strong knowledge of global energy markets, especially crude oil, gasoline, and gasoil.
• Proven success in trading, with measurable results.
• Ability to work well with others and be a positive team player.
• Strong ability to analyze and interpret market data.
• Knowledge of trading strategies, financial tools, and risk management.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to handle pressure and manage multiple tasks at once.
• Familiarity with the international energy market and trade regulations.
• Genuine interest in refinery trading and building a long-term career in energy markets.
