This an opportunity for a Singapore based Business Development Representative (BDR) to work with our teams to help with business development and lead generation in Asia Pacific for SmartStream Technologies’ regional sales team.

Business Development Representative (BDR)
Role Summary/Purpose:
We are looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR), based in our Singapore office and reporting into the Regional Sales Head, to seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers.
To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience developing leads from sales & marketing campaigns, cold-calling and meeting business development or sales quotas. The key goal is to help the sales team achieve the sales targets by performing the responsibilities as outlined below.
Responsibilities include:
- Qualifying leads from business development & marketing campaigns as sales opportunities.
- Contacting prospects & clients through cold calls and emails.
- Presenting our company to potential clients.
- Identifying client needs and suggesting appropriate products/services.
- Proactively seeking new business opportunities in the market.
- Developing and implementing email campaigns to attract new leads.
- Collaborating with sales teams to identify and convert prospective customers.
- Setting up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Sales/Account Executives.
- Attending networking events to build and maintain professional relationships.
- Staying up to date with new products/services and industry or regulatory trends.
- Reporting to the Regional Sales Head on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) business development results.
Key Skills:
- 1+ years’ experience in a BDR, sales account executive, lead development or similar role for a technology firm selling to Financial Services Institutions.
- Bachelors Degree (or higher) in business or technology discipline.
- Experience with utilising multiple lead generation resources (including cold calls), emails, LinkedIn, Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo etc.
- Experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce).
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to deliver engaging presentations.
- Proven track record of achieving business development targets, including quarterly and yearly achievements.
- Preferred language skills:
- Spoken and written English is mandatory. Additionally, knowledge of Mandarin, would be
- Preferably with a Singapore PR or citizenship status. Employment Pass candidates may be considered depending on a high overall candidate profile rating.
- Travel may be required.
