Math Teacher (Primary) - Choa Chu Kang

1 Course Design and Teaching

Develop and deliver math lessons tailored to different grade levels based on the syllabus and

earning objectives.

Teach math for various programs such as AEIS, IB, IGCSE, O/A Level, and PSLE (local or international curricula).

Utilize diverse teaching methods (e.g., interactive teaching, problem-based learning) to enhance students' understanding and engagement.

2 Academic Support

Create personalized learning plans to address individual student needs and weaknesses.

Assess student progress through tests and evaluations and provide constructive feedback.

Prepare students for exams by focusing on question analysis, problem-solving techniques, and building exam confidence.

3 Student Management and Parent Communication

Maintain open communication with students and parents, providing regular updates on progress and performance.

Encourage students to complete post-class assignments and guide them effectively.

4 Teaching Research and Team Collaboration

Participate in the development of teaching materials and resources to improve lesson quality.

Collaborate with other teachers for interdisciplinary projects and curriculum development.

5 Other Responsibilities

Participate in activities such as open classes, academic competitions, and holiday programs organized by Trusty Edu.

Perform other duties as assigned by the organization.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Education, or related fields; teaching certifications (e.g., MOE registered teacher) are an advantage.

Minimum 1-2 years of teaching experience; prior experience with international curricula is preferred.

Familiarity with PSLE, AEIS, IB, IGCSE, or equivalent exam requirements.

Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage and adapt to different learners’ needs.

Excellent communication skills and teamwork spirit.l Proficiency in using online teaching platforms (e.g., Zoom, Google Classroom).

Passion for education with a high sense of responsibility and patience.
