Description
As the Group Finance Manager, you will oversee the preparation and review of consolidated financial reports across multiple entities. You will ensure compliance with reporting standards and provide accurate, timely financial data to support strategic decision-making at the Group level.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the full spectrum of group consolidation processes, including the preparation of consolidated financial statements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
- Oversee intercompany reconciliations and eliminate discrepancies to ensure accurate consolidation.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP) and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare quarterly and annual financial reports for management, auditors, and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with regional finance teams to ensure consistency in financial reporting practices and standards.
- Review and analyze consolidation adjustments, including foreign currency translations and eliminations.
- Support external audit processes by preparing schedules, responding to auditor queries, and addressing audit findings.
- Monitor and implement changes to accounting standards and ensure Group compliance with updated regulations.
- Assist in the implementation and enhancement of consolidation systems and processes to improve efficiency.
- Provide technical guidance and training to regional finance teams on consolidation and reporting matters.
Profile
Qualifications & Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent qualification is highly preferred.
- At least 8 years of relevant experience, including group consolidation and financial reporting, ideally within a multinational or listed company environment.
- Strong knowledge of consolidation principles, accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP), and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with financial consolidation software (e.g., Hyperion, SAP BPC) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across regions and teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in managing foreign exchange impacts and complex group structures is a plus.
