Compliance Manager

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to oversee and enhance our compliance framework. This role is critical in ensuring that our operations comply with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry best practices. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial regulations, risk management, and compliance monitoring.

• Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Ensure adherence to the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) guidelines and industry best practices.
• Conduct compliance risk assessments, audits, and internal reviews to identify potential issues.
• Act as the main liaison with regulatory bodies, responding to inquiries and regulatory changes.
• Provide compliance training to employees to foster a culture of compliance and ethical behavior.
• Monitor transactions for potential financial crimes, including anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorist financing (CTF).
• Oversee the company’s Know Your Customer (KYC) and Customer Due Diligence (CDD) processes.
• Investigate and report suspicious activities in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Keep up-to-date with evolving regulatory requirements and advise management on necessary changes.
• Assist with regulatory reporting and filings as required.

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in compliance within the financial services industry.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, AML/CTF laws, and regulatory frameworks.
• Experience working with regulatory bodies
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and make informed compliance decisions.
• Professional certifications (e.g., ICA, CAMS, or equivalent) are a plus.
