- Oversee a portfolio of retailers primarily located in the US and Europe.
- Conduct thorough credit research and financial assessments while performing risk scoring for both existing and potential customers, adhering to the risk management framework.
- Prepare detailed credit memorandums for approval, providing recommendations for credit deviations or exceptions.
- Conduct regular monitoring of the portfolio through financial reviews, tracking performance metrics, and attending customer results briefings or calls.
- Identify and escalate potential credit risks, adverse developments, and market trends that could impact business operations.
- Collaborate effectively with customers, credit insurers, and internal stakeholders to facilitate deal origination, secure transaction approvals, and offer expert advice on credit matters.
- Utilize advanced Excel skills and data analysis techniques to evaluate sales, costs, and operational drivers, transforming data into actionable insights for stakeholders.
- Generate comprehensive credit reports that comply with internal policies and external requirements.
- Support ad hoc initiatives and special projects as needed.
Job Requirement:
- Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Holds a degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance with 8-10 years of relevant experience, or equivalent professional qualifications.
- Proven ability to independently conduct credit assessments, financial analysis, and forecasting, preferably with experience in banking or credit rating agencies.
- Demonstrates strong analytical capabilities, adaptability, and a proactive learning mindset.
- Skilled in effectively presenting findings and proposals to stakeholders, both through verbal communication and well-structured written reports.
- Thrives in fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and innovative work environments.
- Knowledge of trade finance, supply chain processes, and data analytics is advantageous.
- Familiarity with AI integration in credit processes is a valuable asset.
