Our esteemed client, an established company, is searching for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer:

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure all maintenance work is carried out systematically, efficiently, and safely.
• Improve the existing preventive maintenance system to reduce costs and enhance equipment performance.
• Develop, update, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ISO documentation, and regulatory equipment registration.
• Initiate and coordinate Management of Change (MOC) processes for system modifications, additions, and replacements.
• Assist the Department Manager and Supervisor in coordinating and supervising daily maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot mechanical equipment and system malfunctions to ensure optimal performance.
• Work closely with the operations team to plan and execute daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance programs.
• Train technicians and staff on equipment maintenance while monitoring 5S and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities.
• Propose and implement action plans to address system faults and improve processes.
• Participate in project management, including documentation, coordination with contractors, and vendor management.
• Manage spare parts and tools for mechanical and electrical instruments.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulations.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Facilities Maintenance Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in industrial sectors such as palm oil mills, manufacturing, steel, mining, or waste management.
• Proficiency in CAD software, Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), and other engineering tools.
• Familiarity with conveyors, pumps, and rotating equipment.
• Basic knowledge of pump alignment and health monitoring inspections.
• Strong expertise in preventive maintenance inspection and planning.

Additional Information:

• Working Location: Tuas (Company Pick Up Provided)
• Working Hours: Mon to Fri (8am – 5pm); Alt Sat (8am – 12pm)
• Salary: Basic Up To S$4,100 + Quarterly Incentive + AWS + Variable Bonus + Joining Bonus
