Network Solution Architect
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
Participate in IT Technical Due Diligence exercises, calling out concerns and risks.
Initiate ordering process to engage vendors who will be performing the assessment.
Coordinate and plan with different teams like cabling vendor, Telco and other Client’s Teams before, during and after assessment.
Documentation of site survey assessment results
Coordinate with Network Delivery SME
Conduct network solution requirements gathering and develop options and alternatives Provide pre-project consulting to the business and recommend network solutions to solve business problems. Work with IT and business to define requirements for current project needs.Develop solutions compliant with J&J architectural standards and work with Global Engineering team to design non-standard solutions when required
Draft solutions and implementation plans utilizing the appropriate internal and external resources and ensuring full involvement of business partners and communication to all stakeholders.
Coordinate and manage all installation activities with the Project Manager, Vendors and Users. The scope is across multiple sites in ASPAC.
Work with the Project Manager on the Network project activities, including build, integrate and test phases.
Work with the vendors to ensure that during the deployment, technical design and solution are implemented based on user requirements and aligned to J&J network standards.
Work with the vendors on the Low Level Design (LLD), based on the J&J standards.
Work with telcos to ensure on time delivery, installation, testing and configuration of MPLS, QOS and WAN circuits during the deployment.
Work with vendors to ensure on time delivery, installation, testing and configuration of Cisco equipment during the deployment, including LAN switches, WLAN upgrades and Voice over Wireless setup.
Troubleshoot with in-county vendors, cabling partners and telcos during project deployment for all implementation issues Required
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
Minimum of 10 years relevant experience in office network design, planning and implementation
Strong structured cabling background
Experienced in Cisco WLAN technology deployment
Experienced in Telco installation
Cisco SDWAN solution & Cloud technologies.
Traditional WAN technology, including MPLS, IPSec VPN
Enterprise campus and branch network architecture, and the associated routing (BGP and EIGRP) and switching technologies
Network Security, including Cisco ASA, FirePower, and security management tools
Excellent communication and Written skills
