About the role
As a Claims Executive (Employee Benefits), you will be responsible for the end-to-end claims process for our employee benefits insurance products. You will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient and accurate claims processing, contributing to the overall success of our Employee Benefits division.
What you'll be doing- Reviewing and processing claims for our employee benefits insurance products, including life, health, and disability coverage
- Communicating effectively with claimants, healthcare providers, and other relevant parties to gather necessary documentation and information
- Investigating and verifying the validity of claims in a timely and thorough manner
- Calculating and authorising claim payments according to the policy terms and conditions
- Maintaining detailed records and documentation to ensure the integrity of the claims process
- Identifying and escalating any complex or unusual claims for further review and resolution
- Providing excellent customer service and support to our clients throughout the claims journey
- Minimum 2 years of experience in claims handling or processing, preferably within the insurance industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess the validity of claims and determine appropriate resolutions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with claimants, healthcare providers, and internal stakeholders
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all aspects of the claims process
- Working knowledge of relevant insurance regulations and claims-handling best practices
- Ability to prioritise and manage a high volume of claims in a timely and efficient manner
- Proficiency in using insurance-related software and systems
