Senior Strategic Planning Analyst

The Strategic Planning Analyst will be reporting to the VP, Head of Strategic Planning, and shall be accountable for the following:

• Support development of the organizational-wide objectives and align them with the different priorities across business units and functions.
• Develop and implement business strategies for new and sustainable growth, panning out deliverables at specific operational levels.
• Steward strategic planning tools (e.g. KPI dashboard) for monitoring of the progress of long-term company strategy.
• Perform industry and competitive due diligence including market research of industry metrics, trends and competitive analysis to support the identification of growth and improvement opportunities.

• Support major strategic projects and coordinate cross-functional workstream.
• Assist business scenario analysis and financial modelling of new strategic projects and opportunities, including M&A.
• Assist project teams in devising strategies to enhance project feasibility including developing business cases, scenario analysis, financing, due diligence, etc.
• Develop business case scenarios and sensitivities to support decision making during various project stages.

Pre-requisites:

• A recognised degree in Business, Finance, Economics or Engineering
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in consulting, business analysis and financial modelling
• A team player with the ability to work independently with cross-functional team
• Process strong analytical, problem-solving and strategic thinking skills
• Meticulous, self-motivated and has good interpersonal & communication skills
• Strong ability to plan, prioritize and organise
