Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Operations Executive to oversee logistics coordination, inventory management, and asset tracking while also supporting event activations. The role requires hands-on involvement, including periodic visits to the warehouse and onsite support during events to ensure smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities- Liaison with Freight Forwarders
- Coordinate with freight forwarders and shipping partners to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
- Manage import/export documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Monitor shipment schedules, address delays and resolve discrepancies.
- Negotiate freight rates and optimize shipping arrangements.
- Inventory Management
- Oversee stock levels and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Conduct regular warehouse visits to inspect stock conditions and ensure proper storage.
- Work closely with warehouse teams to ensure smooth inbound and outbound processes.
- Implement inventory control measures to minimize discrepancies and optimize storage.
- Perform regular stock audits and generate inventory movement reports.
- Fixed Assets & Small Items Tracking
- Maintain an updated record of company fixed assets and small operational items.
- Ensure proper tagging, tracking and periodic audits of assets.
- Conduct physical checks at the warehouse to verify asset status and placement.
- Coordinate with relevant departments for asset transfers and disposals.
- Implement procedures to prevent asset misplacement or loss.
- Event Support & Onsite Operations
- Work closely with the event team to support logistics planning and execution for activations.
- Coordinate the transportation of event materials, ensuring timely delivery and setup.
- Assist in onsite inventory management and asset deployment during events.
- Provide operational support during activations to ensure smooth execution.
- Troubleshoot any logistical or supply chain challenges that arise during events.
- Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in event operations, logistics, or inventory management.
- Willing to visit the warehouse periodically and work onsite during events.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management software.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
