Responsibilities:

• Providing on-site troubleshooting and maintenance for our clients' automation and PLC systems
• Programming, configuring, and testing PLC and SCADA systems
• Conducting preventative maintenance inspections and implementing corrective actions
• Documenting system changes and maintaining detailed records of all service activities
• Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and technicians to resolve issues and optimise system performance
• Recommending upgrades and improvements to existing automation systems
• Adhering to all safety protocols and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field
• 5+ years of experience as a Service Engineer, Automation & PLC, preferably in the manufacturing or industrial automation industry
• Strong working knowledge of PLC programming, including ladder logic, function block programming, and HMI/SCADA systems
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnosing issues in complex automation systems
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Willingness to travel to client sites as needed
