Bukit Merah - General Manager – Alcohol Division (Baijiu & Spirits)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic General Manager to lead our Alcohol Division, specializing in Chinese Baijiu and spirits. The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end business operations including market strategy, sales growth, retail expansion, cross-border trade, and team leadership.

• Develop and execute long-term strategies to drive sustainable growth and profitability.
• Full P&L responsibility
• Monitor performance KPIs and make data-driven decisions to optimize business outcomes.
• Identify new store locations and lead the full set-up process including lease negotiation, interior design, renovation, and store launch.
• Ensure all new outlets align with brand image, operational standards, and customer experience targets.
• Build national and regional sales strategies for both B2B and B2C markets.
• Lead brand development and integrated marketing campaigns across digital, retail, and offline channels.
• Foster strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners.
• Liaise with internal import/export departments to ensure smooth logistics, customs clearance, and cross-border operations.
• Work closely with suppliers, freight partners, and compliance teams to meet international trade standards.
• Lead and grow a high-performing team across operations, marketing, sales, and logistics.
• Build a performance-driven culture with clear accountability and development plans.

• Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Trade, or relevant field.
• At least 8 years of experience in the alcohol industry, with 5+ years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven track record in managing retail expansion and large-scale operations.
• Strong understanding of Singapore’s retail and alcohol regulatory environment, as well as international trade.
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Comfortable with regional travel and multicultural team management.
