The Company
With global presence in strategic locations and extensive network in the market, this is a dominant player with the maritime industry. There is now a fantastic opportunity to join them as a Senior Finance Manager for one of the largest business unit.
The Role
Reporting to the Financial Controller and managing a team, you will be responsible for the finance function of the main trading company and regional subsidiaries, ensuring monthly management accounts are accurate and prepared on a timely basis along with management reporting.Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are prepared and reviewed on a timely basis. Preparation of annual financial statements and act as the main contact for statutory and internal audits. Ensuring compliance with local regulations. Managing cashflow to ensure suppliers are paid on a timely basis and the credit line submissions for the bank financing facilities.
Maintaining banking relationships in conjunction with Treasury. Liaising with Traders, Credit and Legal teams and providing support as required.
Your Profile
To qualify for this role, you must have a Degree in Accountancy with minimum 8 years in a relevant role with prior supervisory experience, ideally within trading or energy industry. We are looking for a meticulous, hands-on, analytical and an experienced Finance Manager who can work well in a team.Prior experience in Navision will be highly advantageous but not compulsory.
