Senior Private Banking IT Project Management Specialist - Toa Payoh

Job Description:

• Manage IT projects for onshore and offshore Wealth Management and Private Banking from initiation to delivery, ensuring timely, within-budget and high quality delivery
• Responsible for developing project charters, project plans, scope, timelines, budgets and resource allocation plans
• Implement technology solutions to support onshore and offshore Wealth Management and Private Banking business
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, developers, and vendors
• Management and training of a team of business analysts that are responsible for gathering business requirements, analyzing business requirements and ensuring solutions meet business objectives.
• Maintenance of existing onshore and offshore Wealth Management and Private Banking systems, coordinate with IT teams to resolve technical issues; ensuring IT services align with business needs and industry standards.
• Stakeholder management on project progress, risks, issues; managing stakeholder expectations and ensuring their needs are met
• Foster strong relationships with business stakeholders and IT teams.

Requirements:

• Minimum 8 -10 years of experience in banking or finance industry
• Bachelor’s degree
• Proven ability in project management, IT service management frameworks
• Ability to multi-task and support senior stakeholders with tight deadlines
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in both English and Chinese, as candidates are required to submit periodic reports and email correspondence to our Head Office in Taiwan.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and strategic thinking skills with strong attention to detail
• A collaborative team player, with positive, can-do attitude, proactive self-starter
• High degree of professionalism, ownership and accountability
• Experience in Avaloq would be an added advantage
• Certification in Project Management/related certification such as ITIL/Agile would be an added advantage
