Key Duties and Responsibilities
As a Senior Manager/Director, Finance (Treasury), you will be report directly to the Group Treasurer and is integral to the Group Treasury function. As the company expands rapidly, the primary focus will be on executing treasury tasks (including debt financing), with opportunities to engage in other strategic initiatives:
- Management of Bank Debt: Oversee bank debt and financing to support the Group's growth plans. Ensure timely and successful completion of debt financing for projects and at the holding company level.
- Optimal Liquidity Management: Effectively manage liquidity for the group. Ensure timely debt repayments and placement of fixed deposits to optimize interest while adhering to risk limits.
- Equity Injection Management: Meet target completion dates for equity injections.
- Group Insurance Management: Implement and maintain a comprehensive Regional/Group-level Insurance Policy. Explore innovative insurance initiatives, such as Owner Controlled Insurance Programs (“OCIP”).
- Treasury Support for Subsidiaries: Facilitate loan administration and non-loan support for overseas subsidiaries and joint ventures.
- Budget and Board/Management Reporting: Assist in the preparation of the annual budget, periodic management reports, Group Treasury snapshots, and board presentations.
- Market Risk Management: Manage market risks and ensure timely execution and compliance with FX, IRS, and hedging requirements in accordance with Group Treasury policy.
- Operational Support: Provide hands-on support to the team on treasury operations, including bank account management, cash management duties, maintenance of authorised signatories, loan administration, and documentation.
- Treasury Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies and reporting requirements.
- Data Management: Update, maintain, and systematically organise Group Treasury data and documentation.
- Ad-hoc Project Engagement: Assist with and engage in various ad-hoc projects and assignments as needed.
- Degree in Business, Banking, Accounting or a related field.
- More than 10 years of experience in Banking or Treasury-related roles.
- Demonstrable experience in debt financing, including bank loans, structured financing, and debt capital markets (“DCM”)
- Familiarity with SAP, FX aggregators, and Treasury Management Systems (“TMS”) is a plus.
- High proficiency in MS Office applications and Bloomberg is expected.
- Committed team player with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
