Job Description
An Associate Engineer with experience in hands-on operations and troubleshooting of solar manufacturing equipment such as Screen Printing, PVD, Wet Bench Operations, Dryer Furnaces and other heavy-duty equipment. Candidate will be assigned ownership of one or more critical pieces of R&D equipment and will be expected to develop high expertise in operating and troubleshooting assigned equipment.Other tasks will include hands-on support on lab experiments that may include lifting of heavy loads, transporting materials from on location to another and manual handling of experimental materials.Candidate require to stand long hours, moving quickly between processes, troubleshooting equipment from crouched positions or tight spaces.
- Tasks
- Take ownership of Lab Equipment including maintenance, process optimization of tools to the specifications of requesting engineers
- Assist in Experiments utilizing Lab equipment o Troubleshooting Equipment Issues o Maintaining Spare parts inventory for key equipment
- Maintain 5S in work locations. o Develop new skills for personal self-improvement.
- Safety
- The KPI is zero safety cases.
- Comply with the company's safety protocol at all times.
- Participate in projects related to safety improvement.
- Communication and Presentation
- Ability to communicate and present at all levels of the organization.
- Expected to communicate with vendors regarding troubleshooting matters or advice on equipment.
- Minimun in Diploma Engineering
