Pasir Ris - IT Infrastructure Engineering Specialist (AS400)

Responsibilities:

• Strategy and Planning
• Technical and Strategic Planning for
• AS400 and its related software
• Backup storage on premise and cloud
• Enterprise Scheduler
• IT asset management
• Software change Management
• Project Management and BAU support for
• AS400
• Maxava replication
• ALDON Change Management / Maxava / Enterprise Schedule
• Patching
• Inventory management
• Backup storage and software
• Implementation of new solution for any infrastructure related services.
• Perform capacity planning, performance tuning and trouble shooting.
• Service requests pertaining to System configuration, enhancement and data restoration.
• Any issue related to AS400 based systems and hardware issues.
• Any issue related to the tools support by the team
• People Management
• Provide technical support to IT and non IT staff.
• Vendor management and support for purchases etc.
• Regulatory Compliance
• Adherence to IT Policies, Procedures and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
• Adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Escalation of risk related item via control issue management (CIM)
• Initiate closure of CIM

Requirements:

• Min. Degree Qualifications
• Min. 5 - 10 years of experience with AS/400 systems administration, operations and security.
• Min. 3 – 5 years of relevant experience for administration and operations of Enterprise Schedulers ( or Control M)
• Min. 3 – 5 years of relevant experience for administration and operations of Release Management tools (Aldon LMi and LMe)
• Min. 3 - 5 years vendor management experience
• Strong knowledge in AS400 system administration and troubleshooting
• Strong knowledge in administration of Maxava High Availability and Disaster recovery.
• Strong knowledge in ALDON administration and administration (LMi and LMe)
• Strong knowledge in Enterprise Scheduler administration (Control M Scheduler)
• Possess vendor management skill to drive vendor in delivering solution to the technical issue encountered
• Able to provide IT Audit / Risk/ compliance engagement and support
• Able to provide user management and support
