Position: AI Architect

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Pre-Project Tech Consulting: Provide consulting on effort estimation for new features and products
• Architecture Development: Generate and maintain a scalable architecture for AI products, ensuring integration and versioning.
• Framework Coverage: Ensure the architecture covers edge, cloud, and on-premise environments.
• Algorithm Management: Define processes for training, validation, testing, and operation of algorithms within the microservice framework.
• Technical Planning: Lead the technical planning of AI products.
• Service Interaction: Define interaction modes for AI microservices, including communication interfaces with non-AI services.
• Efficiency Synergies: Leverage synergies among products to enhance efficiency.
• Coding Standards: Establish and enforce coding standards.
• Self-Service Enablement: Empower teams with self-service tools and capabilities.
• Technology Scouting: Scout emerging technologies and conceptual trends.
• Collaboration: Maintain close contact with shared services such as the IT infrastructure team.

Required Competencies:

• AI Design Patterns: Deep understanding of AI design patterns and their implementation.
• Data Processing: Expertise in data processing for AI microservices.
• Machine Learning & Generative AI: Strong technical understanding of machine learning, statistics, and generative AI.
• Software Development: Established knowledge of modern software development and microservice frameworks.
• AI Technology Landscape: In-depth knowledge of the AI technology landscape (Classical & Generative).
• IT Infrastructure: Knowledge of IT infrastructure and interfaces is a plus.

Technical Competencies:

• Very high proficiency in Python and common data science and machine learning libraries (Pandas, Numpy, Scikit-Learn, SciPy, Statsmodels, Keras, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Matplotlib).
• Expertise in generative AI models (implementation, embedding, evaluation, (re)training).
• Proficiency in dependency management (Pip, Conda), code versioning (Git), and using Jupyter notebooks.
• Knowledge of deployment strategies for cloud and on-premise environments.
• Familiarity with Spark (pyspark), Kafka, Hadoop, and data formats for Big Data.
• Knowledge of microservices development using Flask.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and Openshift.
• Optional: Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, SAC).

Education & Work Experience:

• Master's degree in computer science, data science, or an AI-related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with a proven track record in implementing complex AI microservices frameworks.
