Full Set Account Executive (Construction Industry Experience Required)

Responsibilities:

• Maintain full sets of accounts (AP, AR, GL) and ensure proper management of separate books.
• Perform month-end closing, including bank reconciliation, accruals, depreciation, intercompany reconciliation, and adjustments.
• Prepare and review financial statements: P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and budget variance reports.
• Monitor and manage cash flow, including forecasting and fund allocation.
• Oversee AP/AR and ensure timely payments and collections.
• Prepare and submit GST filings, corporate tax, and compliance reports in line with IRAS and SFRS.
• Liaise with suppliers and bankers for operational and banking matters as needed.
• Coordinate external audits and prepare audit schedules.
• Maintain Fixed Asset Register and depreciation schedules.
• Oversee payroll processing, CPF contributions, and staff reimbursements.
• Monitor business expenses, vendor payments, and day-to-day cost controls.
• Collaborate with management to provide financial insights and cost-saving strategies.
• Develop and implement internal controls (SOPs) and risk management practices.
• Support accounting system (MYOB or equivalent) integration and ensure data accuracy.
• Generate ad-hoc financial and management reports for leadership.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in full-set accounting and financial reporting.
• Prior experience in the construction industry is mandatory.
• Experience with multi-entity accounts and separate book management.
• Familiarity with audit processes and working with external auditors is an advantage.
• Proficient in MYOB or similar accounting software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
• In-depth knowledge of Singapore accounting standards, GST, and corporate tax regulations.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and problem-solving skills.
