Job Description: Oversee daily operations of cash management and trade settlement, liaising with custodians, fund managers, and counterparties to ensure timely and accurate settlement processes, followed by journal entry completion. Monitor and report failed trades. Process settlement instructions, funding, and repatriation instructions for trade settlement.
Handle confirmation and settlement-related operations, providing timely updates to stakeholders. Prepare holding reports, address auditor/client inquiries, and manage fee and charge reconciliation. Develop and implement operational risk control measures, maintain procedural manuals, and ensure compliance.
Participate in IT projects and UAT for in-house Online Banking and custody systems. Conduct periodic review and updates of P&P. Perform other duties as assigned by the team lead. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience in custody and settlement within the banking or financial services industry.
Familiarity with knowledge of capital markets, custodial operations, settlement procedures, and trade life cycles across stock exchanges custody and depository operations, corporate actions, and relevant stock exchange and regulatory guidelines.
Experience in servicing institutional clients such as financial institutions (FI) , banks, portfolio management services (PMS), insurance companies, and mutual funds. Strong team player with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across internal and external teams.
