NEW# Network Automation Engineer - 12 months rolling Contract

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer with experience in banking and finance to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing network infrastructure across multiple offices, exchanges, and collocation sites while ensuring security, stability, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and enhance network connectivity across offices, exchanges, and clients.
• Design, deploy, and document LAN, WAN, and Data Center networks while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Work on transformational projects across the APAC region, optimizing automation and tooling.
• Translate business needs into technical solutions that align with global infrastructure standards.
• Develop and implement network automation scripts and tools using Python, Ansible, or other scripting languages.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to define, document, and implement network solutions.

Technical Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in network deployment services, with at least 2 years in the financial sector.
• Expertise in network architecture design, implementation, and support.
• Hands-on experience deploying and managing Cisco routers, switches, wireless infrastructure, and DWDM Layer 1.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, IP multicast, QoS, VPC, VRF, spanning tree, and Cisco ISE.
• Proficiency in network automation (Python, Ansible, Perl) and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (Terraform, Chef, Puppet).
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools (Zabbix, SolarWinds, WireShark, SevOne).
• Knowledge of market access infrastructure across Asia Pacific is a plus.
• Experience with ITIL frameworks and project management best practices.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse teams.
• Excellent technical documentation and organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage complex IT projects from planning to execution.
